"Why is their deer meat in the car?"

So to start out this week. We have had a week full of miracles. It has been one of the coolest things I have ever seen. It has been so great. We have recently been emphasizing getting members involved and it just feels so great cause it feels like we are not just doing it alone.

Monday: we had a p day with our whole zone. Let me tell you it was pretty great we played trash ball. Which is pretty much ultimate frisbee with a volleyball and you are supposed to hit a trash can under the hoop so that was way fun.  I wrecked my ankle again, but I guess that was karma for playing on it. We then had dinner. Then we went on mini exchanges and I went with Elder Stoddard and the highlight of it some dude fell trying to run away from us. Man we must be scary or something.

Tuesday: shout out to my companion Elder Householder he had a dream that he would fix these two bikes at the zone leaders and he ended up fixing them. So now we have transportation when our car share is out of town. So we fixed them pretty much all day then we got on the bikes and biked to the appointment at the church. We took the wrong way lol and ended up going an extra mile so I biked like five miles. But I also was dumb with bike gears and was in high gear and was so tired as Elder Householder was peddling his bike in circles around me haha.

Wednesday: We went on exchanges with Elder Madsen and Barker and we went to downtown to the Department of Commerce for service opportunities and so we went there and then went to lunch at Taco Hangover basically an overpriced taco place that has a bunch of beverages that conflict the word of wisdom. So then we went to a lesson and Elder Barker and I  taught a lesson to a recent convert and went and found some people and chilled that night so it was so good.

Thursday: We arose to all find out the real reason why The Taco Hangover is called taco hangover. We all woke up with the worst stomach aches of all time we were dying. So we all slept it off and then got on with our day. We did some weekly planning that day. So it was good.

Friday:  We had district council and we had exchanges with our zone leaders and it was lit. I went with Elder Judy and we went by a lot of people and they did not answer so that was not fun but we did talk to a lady about Iowa Hawkeye basketball. Funny story so we get a call from Elder Householder and Stoddard and they had said that the door to our apartment is locked and us being missionaries basically means pretty much no one knows were the keys are 95% of the time. We were like oh no. So we broke into the apartment through a window that was unlocked haha. At least we know the lock works actually it's a bar on a sliding door because the lock is broken. We then went to Bdubs while the other Elders went to a dinner and they forgot about us for an hour and then the food took an hour. Plus they took off the pulled pork sandwich which made me mad. Long story short we saw the Aggies choked. Shout out to the Miller on the Aggies he was the only one who showed up.

Saturday:  We finished the exchange and let me say today was so good.  We balled out this morning and let's say I was hitting all right Elder Judy and I show up to this referral in Des Moines and she was asking us about Baptism so we  extended a date of baptism for her and she seems so golden. Then we came back to Ankeny and got in a bash for two hours. Let's just say the spirit was flying in and out. Also we left the place with some extreme anti. But in the end I think I handled the bash pretty well because I was testifying of things from in the Old Testament and Book Of Mormon. So it was pretty great pulling out all these scriptures I had no idea I could remember. Just tells you if you study the spirit will bring things to your remembrance. We then had dinner and dope comp study featuring the zls.

Sunday: Awoke and went to ward council and then went to church and then went to choir practice. Funny thing I had not been to a choir practice since Macomb and we are singing the same song. The funny thing about this is one of the young men is a homie and he was hooking me up with sports updates as we both tried to act like we could sing bass. We then went home and studied I was studying like a mad man I read so many books and scriptures. We then had a lesson with this African family and they gave us fufu which is bland but with this slimy beef that the texture made you want to gag so I had to drink a lot of water. So then we went to dinner and Elder Judy and Madsen needed the car they were on exchanges and drove it  outside of town and then had dinner and then drove back and the car smelt like dead dear and lol. Elder Householder and I were like ugh we put that in our stomachs. So that was fun.

**Note from mom. After talking to Caylor on Pday I  asked him about the dead deer meat, it was not actually venison it was an African beef meal that they had at their dinner appointment (fufu) that the other missionaries thought smelled like dead deer meat.

I hope you all have a great week and as a challenge I would like to give you is reach out to someone who could use some help.

Love yall
