Guess who's back yeah back again

Well guess what I am back in Illinois after this transfer I will have spent a year in Illinois! I only spent about 6 months in Iowa.  I am super glad to be back in the Peoria zone so many good memories lay in this zone. It was just sad not seeing all the missionaries that have had giant impacts on my mission not being here. Plus driving through Galesburg was wild we drove past it and I was looking at like a child seeing Disney World. I am so grateful for all the hard work I put in at all of my areas. It really goes to show how much you really love the people even when you leave. With all that stuff being said I am in Pontiac Illinois and it's a small town fyi the most eastern area in the mission. We 120 miles from Chicago I think. It also has the state penitentiary in it. And it's kinda in town. The prison straight up looks like Alcatraz.

Monday: It was our weird Monday. So we emailed and it was lit. We then went on a exchange and I went with a Spanish elder. We straight up just had a ton of spainish lessons so I straight up didn't know what he was saying.

Tuesday: I was told I was leaving Creston.  And that i would be going to Pontiac Illinois. I then packed and then said bye to a member family while elder Stewart lassoed them . We then went and stayed the night in Osceola.

Wednesday: We had super p day I saw some awesome missionaries and said bye to them and got to chill with them all day. We then stayed the night with Raccon River, which is in a smaller town by the name of van meter. But they had a dinner so we chilled in Des Moines. We went to Scheels and chilled and went and checked out all the clearance stuff. I almost bought an Iowa wolves shirt( g league team) . But I didn't.  We then went to b dubs and got some good food. I got the philly cheese stakes.  We also had a super cute waitress who was flirting with us but of course we weren't because we are missionaries. We then went chilled at the mall. Then we skirted to van meter.

Thursday:
We woke up for transfers drove to Des Moines. I met up with Elder Jarvis and Elder Stoddard and we drove to Iowa city such a great time. I absolutely love those two Elders. Elder Jarvis was my first Companion in Galesburg and Elder Stoddard was my zone leader two transfer ago. While we were driving we saw an Idaho plate so we put our book of mormons to the window and it was a cowboy who smiled and waved at us. That's always lit. So if you ever drive out of Utah and see missonionaries waving at you with book of mormons like hooligans it makes our day when we see members in general especially when their from Utah and Idaho and stuff. I then got in a transfer van and got to be well acquainted with elder Sharp and Elder Broby..we then got to the worlds biggest truck stop and had lunch them went off to Peoria..where I had a great reunion with Elder Madsen and Elder Gardner. I then met my comp Elder Hill and we drifted all the way to Pontiac .

Friday: We road our bikes around town went to the dinky public library where the Librarian calls us by our first name. So weird to be called Caylor by some rando who doesn't really know me. It was quite the workout.Plus the bike seats wreck you so hard. We went by some people and then went and got beverages at Thorntons (there was one in Galesburg) .

Saturday: We had district council and it was lit. We got to know each other and we have so many great elders and sisters in this district it will be a party. We then went to district lunch at Portillo's which is a Chicago restaurant that is utterly over priced I have had two negative experiences there. But I will say the environment is cool but the food isn't that good other then their cake shakes but other then that the foods trash. In summary only go for the cake shakes . So I spent a good amount of money for a subpar sandwich. We then drove back and stopped by some more people and we found a lady that lives right across from the prison it was pretty wild.

Sunday:  We went to church were I found out there is only 40 people in the branch and like ten of them are related to Abraham Hunsaker.  We then had a homecoming from a missionary that just got back From the Spain Barcelona mission. He gave a great talk and then his girlfriend talked as well. It was kinda funny cause I have buddy in that mission right now and he knows his trainer. And said he was in a party city. I also had a Iowa lapel and some of the members from south America thought I was from France but the ironic thing is it legit says Iowa on it ..... we then studied and made spaghetti.

Love y'all
