Kangaroo Jack

Well to begin this week it was pretty fun. The whole reason behind the title Kangroo Jack is because Elder York and I just talked a lot about it this week it was pretty neat. We then were chilling in Wendy's and a few songs that are on Kangroo Jack came on #tendermercies. So we were singing "Soak up the Sun" for like a week.

Monday: it was our p day and it was pretty cool we really didn't do much but we emailed at a library and they did a ball drop the most unclimatic thing of my life haha. We then went and chilled and relaxed at the church that was pretty much that. When we got grounded at 6 we ordered pizza cause we were like it's new years let's treat ourself.

Tuesday: We ended up waking up and going to Walmart and target to get me some shaving cream. We were instructed not go proselyting. So we then went to Des Moines and had lunch with the Badgers and other missionaries. It was super cool getting to chill with some missionaries that I knew and get to know some other ones. It had been a while since I was in the mission home. Then our lit Stake President invited the whole Des Moines stake missionaries to his house so that was like 2 zones of missionaries. The stake president is such a nice dude, plus he agave us all pizza and soda. We then met a dude who talked about Northern Utah and knew who Abraham Hunsaker was that was pretty crazy.

Wednesday: We ended up going on exchanges with the zone leaders. I got to go with my trainer Elder Larsen and we had a blast like the good old days. Since he is in the YSA he has a giant area. So we were down in Aimes driving and I was like who is walking on the side in the middle of the winter. And it ended up being Elder Anderson and his companion we gave them a ten minute ride and caught up with them and later found out that they would have had to walk that so that was crazy. We then had a lesson with a dude who believes we didn't land on the moon and he is a flat earther. And he went on and on about how the Bible supports it. We pretty much just testified of it haha

Thursday: I said bye to Elder Larsen cause they went and dropped him off at the mission home. Its definitely a weird feeling having your trainer go home. I am definitely glad we got to do one last exchange before he went home. It's too bad he's going to the forsaken school. That's pretty much what happened on Thursday. We also taught one of our people and had a super awesome lesson with her about the importance to give up coffee and how it can bless her life.

Friday: We did some weekly planning it was good. We went by some people and it was 50 degrees it was pretty wild.

Saturday: We were knocking an apartment complex and realized they put coupons on all these closet doors so we grabbed a few of them. We also then started the 23 day challenge were we will get Little Ceasers a lot cause of all the coupons we got. We also saw an air hockey table in the dumpster so you already know we wiped it down and are going to fix it and then play some air hockey. We also met this parole Officer who had the most souped up Dodge Charger that I have ever seen it was way way cool.

Sunday: We went to church it was pretty weird not having the third hour cause we had to plan an extra hour which was cool.  We met a couple from Lindon, Utah Traveling to Indiana in Sacrament meeting though. It was pretty dope . We then went to a member dinner and it was pretty crazy and had good food. We then went to the middle of nowhere and talked to farmers on a pig farm and let me tell you they are probably one of the most normal people I have met on my mission. The guy was super nice we talked for a while about the NFL ,dogs and pigs . It took me a while to get to an Iowa Pig Farm, but I did lt.

Love y'@ll
