The end of a transfer

Well this week has been pretty average.

Monday we had a pday with some of zone, and we played some soccer again.

Tuesday we did a lot of knocking on doors in the heat. It was the worst. The heat and humidity is way bad. But we handed out a few Book of Mormons. So that was pretty neat.

Wednesday: We knocked a lot and nothing really happened so that night we went to Taco Bell and had some burritos and they were pretty good.

Thursday we knocked and handed out a few more Book of Mormons Then we went to a Mexican restaurant to get some food. Funny story way back in July Elder Jarvis saw these two people walking and he was like we gotta go talk to them, so we didn't just approach them from behind we ran like a mile to just happen to run into them. Well that was the Mexican restaurant owner and her husband.  We talked to them, but now we are trying to go there so that she will want to take the lessons eventually.

Friday: We had district council and that was good. We also went to a place called Portillo's and to be honest it was over hyped I paid like $14  for a tiny little "Chicago" style sandwich and some puny little cheese fries. You legitimately have to dip the fries in cheese. We then went to have exchanges with the  Canton missionaries. We got to Canton and that was fun we knocked then went and met up with another set of elders.  They brought us to the Havana branch presidents house who lives in Canton #smallbranches, but it was a party and I got to drive I miss driving so much haha.

Saturday: We got back and we were supposed to have a bunch of lessons and they all fell through so that was kind of sad . We did some knocking and nothing really happened but we were invited to have smores with a member. I told the member about Australian licorice and got her hooked on it haha.

Sunday:
Sunday was by far the best day of the week it was pretty fly. So we hadn't found anyone all day so we went to dinner and had a good conversation with the family. With like an hour left to go find people we found these two guys from the Congo and a former person that wants us to stop by. That just goes to show God answer our prayers and even when we are stuck in the mud if we try to get out of it God Will help us get out if we are putting effort.

This week is transfers I think I am staying, but check my Facebook location tomorrow to see if I stay or if I go.

Love you all

The sky is falling (no just the ceiling)

This last week was awesome. To start out on last p day we were able to play soccer and it was brutal I tripped over the ball a few times. Then I was laying on the ground, and  my companion came over and fireman carried me over and then dropped me it was pretty painful.

Tuesday: Tuesday we pretty much knocked.  It has been pretty hot recently, and it is so hot I just can't imagine what Brodie is dealing with down in the Philippines.

Wednesday: we knocked again and it was pretty hot again, and then Elder Jarvis and I were talked for awhile that night.

Thursday: was zone conference and we had a blast. Since I am a district leader companion I had to come like an hour early and I hung out with Elder Loek it was pretty funny he is from the Marshall Islands and he loves UFC. He loves Conner McGregor so I always tease him that McGregor will lose and he says no. He also loves mighty mouse in the feather weight. So we talked a little bit. We also got our door approach modified to be more spirit based which will bless us. I also talked to an Elder from Logan as well he went to Sky View and we talked a little bit about people we both knew. We then went to Red Robin for zone dinner and  little did I know the strawberry lemonade was like 5 bucks haha. I also become homies with a new missionary my homie Elder Shields.

Friday: we knocked and that's pretty much it.

Saturday we found a woman who has been through a lot and really wants to know if God loves her. Elder Jarvis and I both got the feeling she would be baptized. We then went back to the apartment and I destroyed him in a game called Stratego.

Sunday: we had church and knocked doors and then we went to a dinner and the daughter wanted to go Dixie State University and I said it was a party school haha. Then they talked to me about the underground drugs and BYU and then they told my companion that they hope he stays so haha. Elder Jarvis also got bit by chihuahua. I about died it was so funny. So this guy invited us in to his home and then told us that we were wrong about Joseph Smith and Brigham Young so we left as we were leaving the dog bit my comp.

Today: we were doing laundry and our land lord called and was like the ceiling of your bottom neighbor has collapsed we need to get into your apartment. He was nice about it and knew that there had been missionaries before us so haha

Miss and love you all

My Life

Well this week was a pretty fun week. It was another week of college football and this week I was on a college campus while the football game was going on. It made me want to just watch college football. Overall this week has been good. Last Monday we went to Hog Days, and  there weren't even any hogs at the event. Then on Tuesday we woke up and we went knocking we did not really have much success and it was cool. Then on hump day we went and knocked and it was pouring down rain so we took out the jackets.  It really is cooling off so on Tuesday night we pulled out the sweaters. So I can't wait for more sweater weather haha. We ended up going to Canton for exchanges and then nothing happened except we all got 20  nuggets at Burger King. Thursday we had district council and that was alright we had a good time and then came back and found some more people. Then Saturday was awesome we went to the middle of no where and found some people. Then on Sunday we went to church and taught a class then we watched the devotional with Elder Quinton Cook and that was my week.

I love and miss you all.

College Football and Pigs

Well this week we have been finding a lot. We've also had a ton of people cancel appointments on us which has been pretty frustrating, but we are continuing to fight it out. So Monday we were stuck in Galesburg so we went to Target and Kohls and pretty much all the stores around and had some fun.

Tuesday and Wednesday we just knocked and stuff nothing really came from it. On Thursday we had interviews with President and Sister Badger and it was super awesome they are so kind and caring. I love talking to them. We then had a district lunch at Chipotle I am not a fan. Costa Vida and Cafe Rio destroy that place. Then Sister Butcher convinced me to try this thing at Sonic a cherry limeade slush with nerds in it . It was pretty good. We then took some great pictures it was pretty fun. Then on Friday we had exchanges with another set of elders. Elder Smith and I went on exchanges we then found a woman from Germany named Heidi and as we taught her she kept on worrying about a chicken in the road it was pretty funny. That  was pretty much my week. We had some fun and got invited into some people from the Congo's house. We also bought a ward member a cupcake for their birthday.  They totally loved it. And today we went to Hog Days in Kewanne it was kind of a disappointment. Also shout out to the Aggies for almost pulling of the upset go Aggies.

I love and miss all of you guys.
